A sculptural pendant lamp produced using 3D printing, Vira casts a soft, warm light through a strong architectural silhouette. Designed for contemporary interiors, high-end residential projects, and hospitality spaces, it combines modernist inspiration, artisanal craftsmanship, and eco-friendly materials.
More than just a light fixture, Vira is a vertical presence designed to structure space. Its organic volumes are inspired by the concrete sculptures created by Charles Gianferrari and Jacques Bertoux for the lobby of a building on Avenue Paul Doumer in Paris 16th arrondissement. This modernist reference converses with a more vernacular aesthetic, evoking the turned legs of Provençal furniture.
Its undulating texture recalls pleated fabric in motion. When lit, the pendant diffuses an enveloping and graphic light; when off, it retains a strong sculptural dimension, like a silent object suspended within the interior architecture.
3D printed with PLA, a bioplastic made from corn starch, the Vira pendant is part of a sustainable design approach. The material is tinted by adding organic or mineral residues: recycled scallop or mussel shells, coffee grounds, creating subtle and vibrant nuances. This process combines technological innovation with contemporary artisanal production.
Vira meets the requirements of architectural and decorative projects. It is available in three sizes: S, M, and L, and can be installed alone for a minimalist presence or in a triptych composition to create a sculptural luminous rhythm. Any other configuration can be studied on request to adapt to specific site constraints.
