Foreword

The studio's first creations are still recent, and their end of life is, we hope, still far off.
However, considering this stage is an integral part of our design process: imagining an object also means thinking about what it can become when its use evolves.

The solutions presented here are open avenues, likely to evolve over time, with experiences and innovations emerging in recycling channels, both locally and nationally.

This page offers a reflection in motion, true to a vision of design that considers each object throughout its life cycle.

Objects with Multiple Lives

Our objects are designed to last, evolve, and be repaired whenever possible. However, like any object, they may one day reach the end of their initial use. Rather than talking about an "end," we prefer to see this stage as a transformation: disassembly, reuse, recycling, or reintegration into suitable channels.

This page guides you on how to extend the life of your object and identify the most appropriate solutions based on its material and condition.

Prioritize repairability

There are two scenarios when you think your object has reached the end of its life:

**What to do with end-of-life items?**

Because we are committed to making our creations part of a responsible approach, from the first day to the last, two solutions are available to you when the object reaches the end of its use:

  • Return to the workshop for a second life
  • Disassembly of parts to facilitate local recycling.

Refurbishment

Back to the studio

Return your items still in good condition or slightly damaged using a return label provided by the studio. In exchange, benefit from a 15% discount on a future purchase on the site.

Recycling & Reuse

Next cycle

When returning to the workshop is not possible, certain local solutions can provide answers for each piece of equipment and material. This section gathers information to guide the various parts of the object, PLA or PETG printed elements, electrical components, towards suitable recycling or reuse channels, near you.
