Bring a sculptural and poetic touch to your interior with the totem floor lamp, entirely 3D printed. A unique piece that diffuses a soft and warm light thanks to its integrated LED tube and its bio-sourced material.

Printed with PLA, a corn starch-based bioplastic, and tinted by the addition of recycled scallop shells, which gives it this milky white color, blending innovation and sustainable know-how. As the raw material is tinted with a natural residue, color variations are inevitable. No two scallop shells are identical in nature. This makes each floor lamp unique!

This totem floor lamp symbolizes an opening towards hope, the transition from a heavy and uncomfortable state to a lighter and softer one. The base, dense and imposing, is covered with a rough, striated texture resembling an aggregate of sand, scallop shells, and water, as if a storm had brewed these three elements to create a new material. The further the totem stretches upwards, the smoother and calmer the material and shapes become, like a cloudless sky. It symbolizes "Evolution", translated as "Exelixi" in Greek.

Inspiration

Plus qu’un simple lampadaire, Exélixi symbolise une ouverture vers l’espoir. Son nom est “Exélixi” – qui signifie “Évolution” en grec. Il est l'évolution du lampadaire Metàvasi réalisé avec Damien Schwed pour le projet collaboratif "Mer Solidaire" au profit de SOS Méditérrannée (voir projet sur mesure pour plus d'info). Il concrétise par la matière un changement d’état, qu’il soit physique, mental et / ou géographique. Le passage d'un état lourd et incommodant à un état plus léger et doux. La base, dense et imposante, se couvre d’une texture rugueuse striée semblable à un agrégat de sable, de coquilles Saint Jacques et d’eau, comme si une tempête était venue brasser ces trois éléments pour en faire un nouveau matériau.

Sa silhouette, elle, s’élance vers le ciel et se lisse progressivement.
