Wall light, bi-directional lighting, 3D printed with PLA (a biomaterial based on corn and/or wheat starch) and recycled organic or mineral residues.
Its shape is inspired by the "Diploria labyrintiformis" also called the brain coral. It also refers to the algae drawings of Henri Matisse, a lover of the French Riviera.
The corn or wheat starch used to create the PLA reels comes from the recovery of waste from existing crops for the food industry. The two removable lampshades are made from PLA made from recycled scallop shells from the catering reuse sector in Normandy.
The central base is available in 5 colors:
- Green: PLA based on mineral beets and pigments.
- Terracotta: PLA made from recycled crushed bricks.
- Black: PLA made from recycled crushed slate.
- Beige: PLA made from recycled mussel shells.
- Brown: PLA made from coffee grounds.
It is designed and manufactured in Marseille.
