Vase 3D printed with PLA (a biomaterial based on corn or wheat starch) and recycled mussel shells which gives it its beige color.
Its shape is inspired by the carafes of Ancient Greece.
The corn or wheat starch used to create the PLA reels comes from the recovery of waste from existing crops for the food industry. The mussel shells come from the catering reuse sector in Normandy.
It is waterproof and compatible with fresh flowers.
The jewelry is made of Bioccell cellulose acetate, which is over 90% biodegradable. (Please note that the color of the acetate may change depending on available stock, non-contractual photo)
The vase is post-treated to make it perfectly waterproof with a 40% bio-sourced resin. This point is a subject of improvement which is the subject of research in order to obtain a 100% natural solution.
It is designed and manufactured in Marseille.
